Whyman Motors was established in 1982 by Laurie Whyman for the servicing and repair of motor vehicles. The company was taken over by Dennis Cooper and Alan Spratt in 2004 offering a greater variety of services at competitive prices. Following refurbishment of the premises in 2006, Whyman Motors now specialises in the sale of quality motor vehicles. The current owners' interest in motorsport has seen the setting up of Whiteknuckle Motorsport specialising in the preparation and rental of rally cars.
